HEART Lab Students Recognized with Awards

Three students from the HEART lab were recognized with awards at the Human Developmental and Family Studies end of the year awards ceremony. Linghua Jiang received the HDFS Doctorate Awards for Research Excellence, which is awarded to an HDFS student who has excelled in academics, research, and leadership. Kirstin Clear was awarded the Alice Sterling Honig Award, which is given to a student who demonstrated outstanding scholarship in HDFS. Linghua Jiang and Qingyang Liu received Dean Edith Smith Dissertation Grants for their dissertation research. In addition to these departmental awards, Qingyang Liu also received the All Graduate School Outstanding Teaching Award and the Graduate Dean’s Award for Excellence in Research and Creative Work.
